Insurance related killings back in the spotlight

Insurance-related killings are back in the spotlight with another police officer at the heart of the crime. Following the arrest of a police sergeant who allegedly murdered six people for insurance pay-outs, CEO of the Insurance Crime Bureau Garth de Klerk, was interviewed on Newzroom Afrika to discuss the topic which seems like a Déjà vu.

Sgt Rachel Raesetja Kutumela, appeared before the Polokwane Magistrate's Court on Friday 11th October on multiple charges. Dubbed Rosemary 2.0 by the public, she is charged with 11 counts of fraud, 6 counts of premeditated murder and 2 counts of defeating the ends of justice.
